Assistant Under Secretary-General for Training & Educational Development
Soulayma Zock is a junior business student with an emphasis in banking and finance and a great interest in economics and politics. It all started when she became a High school Trainer at the 13thGC LAU Model United Nations where she has learned to effectively cooperate and communicate with her co-trainer, as well as, the students. Despite the fact that it was her first time in the simulation program, she has adapted to the diplomatic and professional culture that is embedded in the programs. She ended her first year at LAU with a trip to New York in a mission to serve as the director of the ECLAC Committee for the GCI LAU MUN. Along with simulation program, Soulayma was a Case Team member at the LAU Case competition (LAU CC) where she was involved in conducting mini-cases and a workshop regarding basic business concepts and is currently a member of the executive board for the LAU CC where she aids in the decision -making and planning process. When Soulayma is not working, she probably training with the Basketball varsity team or instructing students in her Zumba classes. Soulayma will be serving as the Assistant Under Secretary-General for the Training and Educational Development team.
