Assistant Under Secretary-General for Training & Educational Development
Elias Bilen is a third year Electrical Engineering student at the Lebanese American University. The Model United Nations program holds a very dear place in his heart as he first enrolled in the program as a delegate in the 11th GCLAUMUN and won the award of Secretary-General. The following year he became his school’s advisor in the 12th GCLAUMUN as well as a delegate in the 1st LAUMEU program. Later, he became a trainer in the 13th GCLAUMUN in his first year of enrollment at the university and later in the 14th GCLAUMUN. He both directed and chaired middle and high school conferences. In 2019, he became a secretariat member in the GCI program in New York where he held the position of committee director. Besides the simulation programs, he is a huge fan of music, film and art in general. Being very professional and dedicated to his work, Elias is more than honored to serve this year’s program as Assistant Under Secretary-General for the Training and Educational Development Team in the 15th GCLAUMUN, keeping its continuous legacy alongside his fellow team members.
