Carla Saab is a 5th year Architecture student minoring in Performing Arts. Her journey in the Model United Nations simulation program started in 2012 when she participated as a delegate in the 8thGC LAU MUN and won the Secretary General Award. She then became a Secretariat member when she first entered the Lebanese American University in 2014. She has taken part in the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13thGC LAU MUN as a trainer for both Middle School and High School delegates. In addition, she served as the Assistant Under-Secretary General of Training and Educational Development in the 14thGCLAUMUN. Carla has also taken part in the 2018 and 2019 Global Classrooms International High School Conference held in New York as a Committee Chair. Moreover, she participated in the 2019 Global Outreach and Leadership Development conference in New York. Furthermore, Carla is currently part of the Fellowship and Leadership Program, showing her complete passion dedication for serving and leading the Simulation Programs. Aside from the Model United Nations program, Carla is an active member in the Theatre Community in LAU as she has acted and set-designed for several Student Productions as well as Major Theatre and Music Productions. Carla is greatly looking forward to serving the program for yet another fruitful year as the Deputy Secretary-General for this Model United Nations 2019/2020.
